Christmas tree molds .....

Well we finally got the Christmas tree molds done. Now we have to fill it and test it to A) See if it explodes in the kiln and B) See if it looks like an ornament someone would actually pay $$$ for.

It's coming along.....this necklace. I put some cast glass, feathers and a crystal. I didn't finish the ends yet so don't look at those. Do u like it? Do u hate it? Let me know before I start putting it together. I need feedback!!!!

Check out the hemp......we cut it, stranded it, bleached it and dyed the bottom rungs.  We have a special plan to embellish them with glass, crystals and feathers.

We be makin' some jewelry now .....as I have not left the studio in 3 days in preparation for our upcoming show - Bozeman Winterfest - on Feb 18th & 19th. This studio is crankin' with ideas and accomplishment. More photos to follow. I even put the black cat to work.

Third World tripod..........this is what happens when u live in places like Nicaragua too long. The idea of actually spending $$ to buy something goes out the window cause they don't sell it!! So u resort to building your own stuff - like this. Once u get into the habit of doing this you cannot go back !!! U are r stuck improvising for the rest of your life. Your wife calls u a "cheap skate" and your friends mock u. That's just the way it is.

A new large Gyre using base metals ........ it about 3lbs of glass cullet + metals. Cool huh.

Finally something totally bitchin'...............this is metal alloy suspended in glass cullet.  I love it. I will sell a ton of these !!!!!!

Another fracture ........ as this piece bit the dust. Laced with multi shades of blue, greed & copper powder the molecular annealing alignment was too much thus stress fractures occurred. BITE ME !!!! Will try again.
